I have an etower 266 from emachines with the following: Cyrix 266 MII 266 MMX 32MB SyncDRAM ATI 3D Rage IIc AGP Graphics with 4MB SDRAM 56K (V.90) modem With all the 450 mHz computers with 100+ megs of RAM out there, I'm hoping my 266 will provide me with enough juice to run a good game of Quake 2.

Grim Fandango & ATI Video cards
When i run 3D games that require DirectX 6 ( Tomb Raider III, Thief, Rogue Squadron ) in hardware mode the graphics are all screwy, the textures are all flashing I have the latest drivers from ATI that are supposedly DX6 compatible. My AMD K6-2 475 MHz, 64 MB, ATI Rage Pro locks up consistently with 3D games, especially Rainbow Six and Thief. It will be fine for a while (maybe 2 or 3 games), and the only way to get out of it is to physically restart the computer. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?
