CUV4X-E won't boot with ATI Radeon 9200
Anyway, I'm not sure what to upgrade to fix this. I'm quite happy with 3D performance, it copes perfectly well with all modern games, but I want to be able to play DVDs without using my hardware decoder card. Any opinions on whether the problem is likely the crap motherboard, or just having an old PCI graphics card

If many of us send same problem somebody will fix it. Either ATI or Google. For Direct 3D Games i can use the nvidia "Overriderefresh" Tab. But in Open Gl all Games are running not at 60 Hz but however using the Monitors Max refresh HZ. Stereo3D driver for all Detonator driver`s up to V41.09" They work fine with the 42.70 Drivers and seems to fix a few issues I had with the 30.82 ones.

2D video performance of voodoo3
It play OK with cheaper VGA card ATI Expert Pro 2000. Someone said the AGP driver from MB can not handle the current from the video card with 3D games. I am stumped... I got no clue what to try now other than reformat. I predict if I do reformat, it wont fix it. Anyone have any ideas?

I had the exact same problem with a Radeon LE, i tried everything and couldn't fix it. The turning off the AGP 4x didn't work. ATI even didn't have any answers. works fine under normal circumstance. but when i go to play QUAKE 3 or any form of 3d game, i can play for like 3 mins and then the system halts.

It does seem that this occurs to Nvidia as well as ATI. It also doesnt appear to be OS specific. I have followed the rage 3d forums,VIAs' web site has a very good and 2 because I am out of resources for an answer. I surely hope more is being done to resolve this issue?
