Problems with 3D games and Win XP
I have an ATI 3D Rage Pro AGP 2X card with 4 MB RAM. When i run 3D games that require DirectX 6 ( Tomb Raider III, Thief, Rogue Squadron ) in hardware mode the I have the latest drivers from ATI that are supposedly DX6 compatible. Does anyone else know about this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?

Trouble is I've tried 3 sets of drivers from ATI all above the supposed fix revision to no avail. In fact the latest drivers (not beta) enable me to see my But I have heard that some ATI cards have problems with 3D games, so I wasn't surprised. Unfortunately, unless you know your way around the Windows registry really, really well, the easiest way to fix this would be to reinstall Windows. If that's the next course of action for Right after slipping in the P200, I couldn't get 3D games to work with the new ATI drivers I had been successfully using.
